Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

No end in sight to turmoil

I would like to keep my job here, for now at least. My team is ok, mgmt is fine, we work together as smoothly as possible. Pay is also acceptable. Now even my nicely functioning microworld at work is being affected by this turmoil. General vibe is going down, half of a team is terrified of losing a job, mgmt is creating tension because they don’t know how to deal with extraordinary situations. Can leadership come up with a new strategy and just let us work? Productivity and morale have been in a sharp decline. They are ruining even what's working well.

If OP is saying the management is fine in the team, it’s very much possible that, that is one toxic team. On top of saying, management is fine but don’t know how to deal with situation….

The company is losing money left and right because ONLY the top executives are grossly incompetent.
Yeah, right.
If Elon Musk took over, not 15% but 30% would be out of the door. And Intel would be profitable again, fast.

Here's the deal: Intel decided to arbitrarily cut 15% of workforce. They don't give a Fu-k about YOU.

Our managers are the best! They have never lied or misled us!

Same thing in my group. Not sure if anyone will be ISP’d. The work is interesting but morale is so low. I have to exit anyway.
