A decent shop will let you know if possible. Others dont know or don't care. Asking other people on here to post something is a wild guess at best. How many airlines go bankrupt? Revenue is down 90% average? New planes anyone??? Cancellations? Go figure. Expect more of the same.
IAM only had 376 warns go out out of 1000+ - how many more to come for IAM?

No sir, you are incorrect. Tell that to my friend who got his TODAY. I have no skin in this, nor am I trying to stir up any BS. And as far as your “they NEVER hand out L/O notices on Wed.” garbage, well, you’re wrong there too. Last month, in MY shop at least, they handed them out Wed/Thur/Fri, they will probably hand out more the rest of this week.
Regarding your other news, there’s some truth to that, & layoffs are still an ongoing thing for all the non-believers out there.

Now, for real news. BOEING asked Spirit to reduce the number of fuselages from 125 to 75 for the rest of the year. That's not enough for 6 months work. They are going to layoff the entire 37 line tomorrow and only bring half back in September.
Fake news. An hourly co-worker of mine got his today. Fact.
They don't deserve that for employees. They do it for customers, the FAA, stockholders, the general public and really anyone who will listen.
But that is how corporations work today.
Correct, layoffs will not occur hourly. Boeing will hand them all out at once.
