Doubt it. We're still trying to figure out how to fill in those roles left by the folks who retired.

According to a LL5 who retired in November, future layoffs will be at the discretion of each Chief Engineer / Manager / Spvrs to get rid off "undesirables" aka Ford Blue workers. Since HR is not afraid of firing people any more, at any given moment GSR's can be fired on the spot w/o any reason except to meet quota by the Chief / Manager. LL6's were happy to get freedom to remove those who make them look as they are emasculated yes Men. My spvr already got rid of one in the first week on January with the excuse that the individual was a slacker. Anyone is fair game, March is a soft deadline to see where overall headcount is but every division already know how many more people they need to cut. At UnSE, it is expected people being fired by the end of the month. There is no loyalty at UnSE, it is in disarray, no leadership.

The real question at Canopy: will FLV throw CM under the bus or vice versa?

"pie in the sky" non-feasible ideas. Most of which will never see the light of day.

Speaking of “canopy” which was announced a year ago…about as “pie in the sky” as it gets. ZERO publicity from CES despite about a $million in expense. Only social media is Twitter, with 269 followers, all Ford next employees. This is definitely a money loser from FLV and his inept team.

Regarding CES, if you look at all the press releases from our competitors they were all "pie in the sky" non-feasible ideas. Most of which will never see the light of day. Ford really did not need to show off at CES. We already have new technology in customer's hands with Mach-E and Lightning. New technologies are coming from Model e and I am happy we didn't prematurely introduce them. Let the other auto companies think they are ahead. The services and products coming from our company transformation with Ford+ will overshadow them.

@wev+1kAwTOyj We wasted a huge amount of money at CES, with nothing to show for it other than CM is a drain on our earnings. Canopy will never be successful. Their premise that capturing a video and ADT notifying the police means the police come for a vehicle theft. Maybe that happens in Grosse Pounte Farms, but not in most of the real world.

If not, they should be. Starting with Ford Next and C MO--N. CES was another fail. Canopy was laughed at. FLV hasn't demonstrated any value. Farley is a sociopath, but he knows if he doesn't get the stock up and provide a clear roadmap to profits, EBIT, etc he will be out on his d-mba$$ as fast as Hackett and Fields were.
Waaaaaayyyyy too many fake ' thinkers ' and ' digital ' folks. Start by culling the LL4/3s, that will send a clear message.
