I hear rumors of a massive hit coming. Any truth to this?

They did more layoffs after jk said it was over…
@2tle+1fjQvL1V, @wen+1fjQvL1V:
JK said that the layoffs were done, and it seems to have been true that round of layoffs that he was asked about was complete, and no further rounds were immediately planned.
Did he say something further, that I'm not aware of?
I don't think he promised that nobody would ever be laid off again, especially considering that the company's being acquired and merged with another organization. There's basically no way to merge large organizations without some form of restructuring with redundancies.
@wen+1fjQvL1V And the world is made of peanut butter
HPEL coming to a location near you. (High Performance Entry Level). Offshore engineers with no experience to milk the cash cow.
Joe said no more layoffs, Tony danced around a "yes".
@wen+1fjQvL1V I’m afraid he was only JoeKimg
This acquisition could turn out to be a serious miscalculation if everyone leaves. Or maybe that's what they want to happen. Eliminate the overhead, simplify the products, sell them direct to customers at a much lower price until the cash cow is dead.
Who knows?
Good luck to everyone. Well, almost everyone.
Big layoffs then big hiring.
Always.
Depends what they want to do.
Can't speak for Vista, but sometimes layoffs and adjustments happen prior to acquisition to keep the new company from paying higher unemployment costs.
