Rumors are that the bonuses for this year for this division will be 0.... any confirmations?

What a troll thread. Bonus's are in everyone's contracts and the way they're calculated is clearly outlined. They're not gonna just do no bonuses for all of Tanzu.
Tanzu was such a farce in just the name alone. Don’t expect much.

Bonus can be zero, there is no rule they have to pay any of it. Same for stocks, they can always decide to stop them. Take it or leave it, US big tech don't do it, chinese companies are notorious about it - check tiktok
If Hock says it is zero, it is zero. There are no other “rules”. Learn to live in a dictatorship or leave.
Yeah this is strange, based on the official company document that explains how the bonus is computed it seems like this can't ever be 0 (but at minimum your bonus * 0.5 (company and division results are bad) * 0.5 (your performance is bad)).
But I also heard rumors (from management) that this year could be 0...If it's really the case that it's really like "we really want you to leave on your own as you are completely useless to the organization"

There’s an annual performance bonus document that states half of bonus is based on corporate revenue and profits. Only 50% is based on business division and even that states minimum payout 50%.
Idk where there rumor is coming from but seems to me worst case is a reduced bonus (assuming people make it that far).
Well before BC they were probably compensated higher than most of the money making units, it was all about the future, they banked hard on it much like they CMBU banked hard on Xenon :D
