Lol. This company is complete dog sh-t. They don't want to look bad with layoffs so instead they point a g-n at you to take the new initiative or see 0% of your commission unless you hit 70%. Dumped into the ether (MD and his goons pockets).

paid on booked is more fair as it prevents the company from "experiencing unexpected shortages" when the Quarter is made. Thus the "unfortunate" benefit of not paying accelerators and also dragging rev into the next quarter. Paying on shipped creates the potential for financial book cooking. The fact they set our quotas after the quarter closes for the next quarter is also suspect. They say backlog has nothing to do with the computation for the next half's quotas... yeah.. right. sure.
@bz Germany, for example, is paid on booked, not shipped because this is why unions / workers councils really provide something good for the people. you all should start to revolt more

Imagine only having to do 70% of your job to get paid...smh.
Sales comp plans won’t mean anything if inventory won’t ship for 9 to 18 months. Will be shedding by attrition as people won’t get paid.
