Buffett should be arrested for taking advantage of Vicki with the loan for the Anadarko deal. Aren’t their rules against taking money from people that don’t know what they are doing?

You’re being generous. Since Vicky took over, the cumulative return is negative 30%.

Berkshire Hathaway delivered a 277% return since 2015, whereas Occidental Petroleum recorded a -0.5% return over the same period.

@t3+1jmk73r4a - nice try, but did you know that the two Vice Chairmen of Berkshire Hathaway make $20 million each? Buffett also owns 15% of Berkshire Hathaway.

I think VH is a great CEO. She really cares about her employees and knows her business. We are pretty much the only one keeping hybrid working schedule.

Warren Buffett's salary as CEO and Chairman of Berkshire Hathaway was $100,000 , which has been his base salary for decades. In addition to his salary, the company spent $313,595 on security for him, bringing his total compensation to $413,595 for the year. He does not receive any bonuses, stock options, or stock awards as part of his compensation package. This compensation structure is consistent with his long-standing approach to modest executive pay.

She has been awful. Good company to work for but company performance has been below average since taking over.

I can’t defend her, but how the heck do you know what industry leaders laugh at? You work in a tiny cubicle.

Industry leaders laugh at her all the time. She’s s destroyed an already third rate company with her carbon sequestration focus and overpriced acquisitions. Look at the stock price. Overpaid for a dubious and self praising tenure.

VH is doing a great job and she should be compensated for that. Don't like working for Oxy? Quit, nothing stops you. Don't like Oxy stock? Sell or don't buy. But don't bi--h here about a CEO compensation being 93:1... absurd

VH deserves a nice retirement after going through the APC purchase, Covid, and the CR purchase. It would be nice for her to retire this year to enjoy retirement at a young age. She could continue being on other boards and doing good for the community with all of that money and corporate organizational and project skills.
