Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

4% of total employees took enhanced retirement

How will this impact 15% number, will it be 1:1 ratio or 1:3 ratio as ER employees are paid in average paid 3x.

Vsp and isp aren’t the same. Hence why all most vsp applicants were denied. We Couldn’t afford all those packages. ISP they can afford since they don’t have give packages to those whose are let go or fired or ISPed.

Why is there talk of ERP? The last I knew, there is no ERP and the separation pkgs are the same regardless if voluntary or involuntary. Retirement is one thing. A separation package is another. They are not tied together.

Sorry bud it’s not. Are they legally bound to give the same? They are not. We will find out soon enough. Good luck. I really hope you are right.

That's kinda the point. If you don't care one way or the other - wait it out.
If you do, then act.

eti+1uoPlPNO ISP package is the same as CPM/VSP. If you were an employee you would know this.

They couldn’t afford all that applied for VSP. With ISP they don’t have to pay sh-t for packages. So many VSP will be converted to ISP and receive no package. Nothing. Zilch. Fu-k this company.

@xag: you would get the vsp if you choose to apply. Getting isp is not your choice. So vsp has values.

4% of total people? ??% of total retirement eligible people?

If folks still want to work, or milk the cow, why would they leave?
ISP has the same packages as VSP. If you were eligible for ERP, you will get the same package if you are ISP'd.

Unless you really wanted out, the CPM-AP added no value.

More ER-eligible employees will get ISP'd than younger employees. This is just a fact if you look at previous rounds of layoffs.
