I declined to move and don’t regret it at all. But I do resent that I was forced to choose. Always been remote, always performed (even got a connection award just before the RTO bombshell), and I always worked with people not in Dallas.

95, feels like 100 in Dallas today and there are power outages everywhere.
Glad I declined #56,456
This is the second FTW action that I have been caught in. I chose not to go to Dallas twice and do not regret either decision. I was born in Georgia and all my family is within an afternoon drive of my house in Atlanta. It is sad that for years my job was done capably away from Dallas, but now the "leaders" are forcing decisions between family and career. But, Stankey has always been an ahole and he is living up to his reputation.
I declined, but wanted to keep my job. AT&T let me go anyway. I found 10,000 reasons not to move, but maybe 1 or 2 reasons to go - pay and R75. You can make money anywhere, so I am, with jobs lined up in a few weeks.
Don't mess with Texas
Refused to move to Texas because I didn't want to leave my whole family behind. No regrets considering the crowded conditions, traffic congestion and possibility of an eventual layoff after the move anyway.
I am very happy with my decision!

where have you been the last 20yrs
I refused to move and regret my choice. I never thought layoffs would actually happen due to RTO. Tuesday was my last day.
I got my visa and I’m headed to Bratislava in August.
I haven’t been asked yet. Customer facing. I stay where I am.
I refused to move and don’t regret it. My mental health is more important than T. I only imagine how miserable I would be alone in an obscured rented apartment somewhere in Dallas, no family, no friends and nobody to talk to in person. Working in crowded office full of strangers. Wasting my money on an airline tickets to see my family and friends on weekends or holidays. And most important constantly thinking about next round of layoffs and if it will impact me.
5 years ago I moved as they were laying off folks in the wrong zip code. Got a new boss and within a year of moving to Alpharetta accidently got wind of my pending layoff. Found a new job within T. Point is you could get released if you move so maybe just leave. Your call.
#DallasBound is the answer, or GTFO.
I'm not moving to Dallas. I don't regret it, but I don't like losing my job either.
Chose to move to Alpharetta. Renting. It’s so expensive here. I’m spending 2k more per month and finding a house would be even more. What did I do? This is a nightmare. Now I’m hearing that people that chose to move are being laid off too with wave 2. What if I get surplused? I left my aging parents and friends and siblings. So upsetting
only if you had planned on moving to Dallas for personal reasons; DONT move just for T
Didn't move and not looking back,,,,leave family, friends, aging parents to go to Dallas, buy a new home at inflated prices with a higher mortgage.....only to be possibly let go????
Don't think so......Daddy didn't raise a fool!!!
I chose not to move and not a minute of regret. Seriously!
It all depends on your family situation, your current circumstances in the team you are in especially your boss, and of course financial and psychological aspects of a major move across the country.
When you make a decision accept the consequences of the decision and move on, there is no need to regret anything. It is what it is.
I moved to Dallas and never looked back. It was a good decision for my situation.
