Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

He did it again

Compared us to McDonalds employees in a chat with a payments analyst.

“We've built a culture of in-office. That's the type of company we are.

And I say that because all my clients have their employees in their office and their office may be Walmart, their office may be McDonald's, Dunkin' Donuts. So -- and sometimes people don't like me making a comparison. But yes, the number one job type is software engineer, but ultimately we deliver it. So I think it took a while during the pandemic to get a cadence. You're not going to get a cadence on a new company without spending time together. But we got it right. We got it right.

He also makes some strange comments about kicking his dog.

The most poignant thing he said was: [indiscernible]

When he was at Coral 2 years ago and we were still 3 days in office, he said during that town hall that he had a stroke several years ago,so he has a speech impediment.

I'm not excusing the guy, I'm just stating a fact.

Right after that town hall in Aug 2022 was when we were forced to 4 days in office. And yes, he used that stupid McDonald's reference which irked everyone in the room.

Everytime they have the company wide meetings, every other one of the EVPs sound incredibly smart. When Frank starts talking he sounds like Roz from Monsters Inc and impresses absolutely no one. Has like a high school speaking level.

Bordering on incoherent. And he never referred to it as Fiserv - he just kept saying First Data.

I'm amazed; he said he's leaving but the stock went down when that was announced.

That really illustrates how terrible of a speaker he is. Makes you wonder if he is having a stroke or keeps going on tangents.

Here's a good idea: have a point. It makes it so much more interesting for the listener!
