Even though Symantec and Carbon Black are doing badly, Octane still loves us. No matter what, at the end of the day, RSU matters. The management doesn’t care about the business.

Outsider here, once a devout employee. It's true. Some of the best, most knowledgeable staff were laid off en-masse. They have no idea who to keep and who to let go. Although I have a hunch it's all pay-related as well as survival factors such as not letting someone go who had a large family yo support.
All in all, document new skills you've learned. Document how long you've worked with Broadcom. Update that resume. Get on LinkedIn. Be prepared to drop Broadcom as fast as it will drop you. Stay abreast from the negativity and soulless nature of the business.
Dude get a life!! Don't be salty ! You deserved it!
To Post ID: @vnk+1vWNJYua - "I know you've recently been laid off, but please don't be salty, as it's not good for your health." That's Doctor. Really?
Let them about the ESG. It's great therapy. You might want to take a break the reading and posting too.
they do not know whom to keep and whom to get rid of
The reality is that many people lack a clear understanding of themselves yet maintain high self-esteem. When faced with a layoff, they struggle to accept what they perceive as failure.
I know you've recently been laid off, but please don't be salty, as it's not good for your health. Stay positive and keep focusing on upskilling yourself—opportunities will come your way soon.
Management says it’s the sales or marketing issue anyways Symantec management su-ks. Their recent layoff decisions were the shock to many, they do not know whom to keep and whom to get rid of. I would think their failure started a long time back.
