@16v that is correct. It was carefully presented as an EOI for an involuntary layoff, so the WARN numbers do include EOIs.
@15a That is not true. Expression of interest is to volunteer for an “involuntary layoff”. It’s clearly spelled out that way in every EOI. Well at least the 4-5 I have seen with CVX in the past 15 years.
@x9 that doesn’t include those that EOI’d. EOI’s are considered voluntary departures and are not required to be disclosed in the WARN act totals for reporting purposes. So if 10% of workers EOI’d for example - which isn’t unreasonable considering those close to retirement - that would translate to 575 Houston + 85 EOI, and 70 Bakken + 75 EOI.
So 805 / roughly 1600. So 50% of the workforce.

Sep. 22 - 25th - Outcome Notifications.
Meanwhile, org charts have not been released. They keep pushing back the date or org charts. If I were you, just AEOI/EOI when you have the chance. Save yourself the trouble
