Which orgs were hit hard?

CSO got hit in the latest round.
In IT and surplused less than 18 months after being hired back.
The things to think about:
- You move and RTO is 5 days a week
- You move and the building you were assigned changes (or they decide you need to be in a different hub)
- You’re laid off in the next round after moving your life/family (no guarantee there and has happened)
- Still dealing with the same crazy unpredictable CEO
Or you can take your future into your own hands and move onto the next adventure, maybe for a company that actually cares about you and your contributions.
All safe in Mcatee but they’re L4. Think same is true for that level in finance but can’t confirm.
“I found this astonishing that most people who are moving have no skills and have technical titles. But I’m not surprised cause they know nobody would hire them if T lays them off.”
You must be speaking about our CTO again. That figures.
“They can let you go at any time for any reason.”
Not solely or predictably based on age or race they can’t. If they seek your response to move and the invitation to move is only genuine for some, they had better keep their records straight regarding which demographic was told thanks but no thanks.
Isn’t that what everyone is championing? Equity of outcome?
I found this astonishing that most people who are moving have no skills and have technical titles. But I’m not surprised cause they know nobody would hire them if T lays them off. Not sure what is Stankey’s plan to do with these unqualified managers but on the other side CEO is also not competent. Good luck!
If you respond that you will follow the job and you are in your 50's and white, make sure you also document your decision.
What good do you think this is going to do? The company does not have to keep you just because you said you would move. They can let you go at any time for any reason.
Texas is an at will employment market. Unless you have a contract, you can be let go for any reason.
"I wasn't originally planning to move, but I'm too young to retire"
If you respond that you will follow the job and you are in your 50's and white, make sure you also document your decision. Do this by emailing your boss and HR stating that you understand that your job has been evaluated and it was determined that the job will continue to be a critical role based on needs of the business. You further understand that it has been deemed important enough that it must be performed in person at the new location and that you accept the invitation to follow the job.
If they terminate the job AFTER you tell them you will move, ask HR if they there will be any requisitions submitted pertaining to the role they claim was terminated.
Document everything. Forward everything to your personal email. Ask your boss if he has submitted any requisitions as well.
I wasn't originally planning to move, but I'm too young to retire. Almost none of the former corworkers in my department surplused in earlier waves have found jobs in IT. Moving is the best option for my family and we have a few relatives in Texas.
>I find it astonishing that anyone who is not single would move.
You're astonished my wife and I like the adventure and seeing new places?
How was Townes hit? What groups?
I am #DallasBound.
I find it astonishing that anyone who is not single would move. This company is at best a joke, and at worst the most unethical company in the modern era.

Wave 3 letters went out today. I was virtual, now I have two weeks to accept relocation or not.
well that's a first. never heard of a layoff as a bar of soap
I don’t know about hit hard but many orgs had a bar of soap dropped in front of them yesterday. Much better when these things play out in three unique steps.
First the soap, then the bend, then t steps up. Always amazed that they are blindsided, or backsided as it were.
ACS
Platinum in Michigan was hit hard
“Townes org got hit.”
predictable. Townes already had mandatory rto 5 days per week.
nobody saw that as a way to skinny the force before yesterday’s announcement?
the nda for yesterdays big top circus was anything but.
Townes org got hit.
Any 50 something pale skins left? If so, you already know the answer.
