Union for life! Actually I am pretty good at what I do, if they want to can me, I will just take my services elsewhere. It's just a really good paying job. I hate the company I work for but they pay the bills. This place was a career 25 years ago when I started. It's just a job now.

I'm riding the wave. Had multiple out opportunities but why. They want everyone to quit. I'm not quitting for that reason. In the meantime there is plenty of cash to be made.
Lots of guys are just riding the wave, especially those with many years under their belt. They made their money when things were good, probably have a spouse that’s well off, kids are grown etc. They know this place is done for, they’re just waiting for that buy-out and I don’t blame them. The only people who still think there is any “security” in this place are these delusional union techs and the brown-nosers who think being “good” at their job means something anymore. They’ll be in for a rude awakening when Altice finally has their day of reckoning.

You have to remember these are the same people that refuse to go union no matter the circumstances being smart is not their strongest quality.
I call it fear. Scared to leave until your layed off or fired. Desperate to do the only job you have ever done. Well if you have no other skills. Better start looking! Don’t be the guy that can’t feed his family. It’s coming to an end really soon
Unfortunately you are correct I don’t understand. How guys stay here. This is coming really soon to an end, it’s all over stock reports. How this company will contact everyone out. It’s no secret. Trucks are sold bu tractor trailer loads . And still people don’t see. I offered guys in my yard a better gig they choose to stay. For what I’ll never get. Now it’s too late. Stay safe for what it’s worth
