Usually layoffs are announced when announcing quarterly results, in this case there were no announcements so it is likely there will be no layoffs this quarter.

Where are you living? Layoffs were announced loud and clear during the quarterly results announcement. Numbers have been decided. It is just that names haven’t been announced but that will be decided in the coming weeks.
Jealous much??? WFH is nice for many reasons, but the studies mostly show at least no quality/productivity drop. Yes, I like it, BUT I am also, "On it," at work, because I am highly motivated for remote work to continue and I want to produce the best results. If you want a remote position, apply for one and stop whining! I've worked the floor for many years and have seen the slacking there, so get a grip!
They should just get rid of the thousands of slackers who have been "working from home" for the last 2 and a half years. They've been stealing a living while expecting everyone else to bail them out.

I was informed already, now waiting for the official notice(by mid Nov) and package. Glad that my group is at least organized to cut sooner than later and not having us wait a slow death.
Pray that your group announces this month the affected ones, so you don't have to go thru an anxiety trip for the next few months. Good luck everyone!
those impacted in the "first round" will be notified in early November. The cuts from the "first round" start in January 2023. Merry Christmas!
There will be "second round" after the "first". And possibly a "third" round after that.
Enjoy the Christmas break. Your present will be given after the break.
