Big Bear Lake Kmart NOT closing.

OK, I contacted the realtor on this site for Big Bear Lake Kmart, inquiring about leasing it:

They wrote back to me that, sadly, the store is NOT closing. They are merely leasing 4 store spots, in that shopping center adjacent to Kmart. From that site "Anchored by Kmart
Home to Big Bear Mountain Resorts with over 6,000,000 visitors per year
Four shop spaces totaling 5,805 SF in the adjacent building next to Kmart".

Further, that store is currently hiring a store manager:

For what conceivable reason are you bumping a dormant thread from 3 Months ago? Unless you have some closing information to post, why bump this old thread? Start a new one. I saw that it was bumped, and I got all excited for nothing, thinking there would be a closing link or something. SMDH.

I was in the Big Bear store last week 11/13/2020 and it was so sad to see it is half the store it used to be they can say it is not closing but to those of us that watched the rest of the stores fold up it sure looks like it is on it's way, no longer one stop shop for the residents or visitors of Big Bear Lake. If you think you might need something before going up plan ahead this was my favorite Kmart now it is just depressing.

The other several hundred Seritage stores have closed. This is literally the last one. You'd have to be delusional to think it's different.

Big Bear Lake is the last Seritage property with a Kmart (or Sears) tenant within the 50 US states.

Seritage is also the landlord for two Sears and two Kmart stores in Puerto Rico.

OP here. You are right. My bad. I was wrong, I mixed the 2 stores up by mistake. But still, BBL is not closing. And Costa Mesa, which someone in another thread mentioned is closing,

is actually not, since they're hiring a store manager. But sorry, again, about the mixup.

That store manager posting is for Costa Mesa, not Big Bear Lake.
