I have been feeling extremely used. Yes, there are layoffs going on all over - and they say its never anything personal, these are supposedly business decisions.
Ever since that cold afternoon when I had that eerie teams meeting with my manager and HR person, no one has ever reached out from Walgreens asking how I am doing or why I was cut. Or even just plain sorry - we couldn't do much and we appreciate your time here. Nothing at all.
Am I the only one? Or are there any decent leads/managers who actually had the courage to do this? I have never felt so worthless in my entire life. Also explains the state of morality and ethics in the AI team. These are unworthy leaders lacking courage, experience and basic morals. Accountability starts with the guy who I spoke to every day not with a l-wlife du----s that got hired as CIO a few months ago.
