Breakdown of US Layoffs by Function/Location

Does anyone have a breakdown of the 1900 layoffs by function or by location (as was shown for those in Europe)? All I’ve heard is possibly 15 in EMRE LT and 10 in EMRE FPO. Unfortunately, I haven’t heard back from any of my former colleagues.

Energy transition to what - Algae? LoL.
There are many of low cost operators that take care of their units well and operate safely. They don’t need corporate staff telling them what to do. Even if they have corporate staff, it’s minimal.

"No low-cost operator has anything close to an organization like EMRE. They do fine. EMRE is a drag on profits. As a shareholder, I would like my company to be lean and efficient!"

EMRE makes our company more efficient and safer and hundreds in Clinton are working on the energy transition – we are admittedly very bad at talking about all the great work we're doing. Unless you truly understand what EMRE does, I think you need to keep your thoughts to yourself.

To the internet troll/bully who wrote this:
Hey, OP. Why do you care about the breakdown? What does that have to do a lick about your job? Obviously you don’t work for the company and don’t give a rat’s a– about the fact that people are losing their jobs you f-ing scum. They are not numbers on a PowerPoint deck!!!

Please be kind to people. You have no idea what anyone who writes on here is going through and you are needlessly being cruel. If that was your intent, please look in the mirror and ask yourself why you need to do this?

Low cost operator means to hell with SHE. This company is seriously going downhill if they believe they want to go back to running very lean.

There is a serious age gap with this company, all the experience that can efficiently do work is leaving. Add on that we are sending work to AP to be progressed via recent grads. Great vision from the top.

@uly+18c1RmFP, clearly you don't understand what EMRE does.

@1ulx - that’s rather an extreme reaction, isn’t it? I’m the OP and I don’t deserve your contempt or the unjustified name calling. I would like an apology.

There’s no gloating here. I was NSI’d in July and came off the payroll on November 1, after 30 years with the company. I was simply trying to get an idea of how the company’s cuts are going to be spread over the organization. As I said, I’ve had no response from my former colleagues when I’ve e-mailed them to see how they’re doing.

Op is fishing. The numbers given are wrong. Correct numbers were communicated by management.

90% of EMRE should be cut - the whole organization is useless with people collecting paychecks and dragging down profits.

HR is getting walloped. With the layoffs and recent NSI cuts, about 90 of a total of 200 employees are being let go.

Controllers and Law don’t seem to be impacted. So, many HR employees may be regretting not going to Law school or getting an Accounting degree.

Feel bad for many of them because they were promised great things as they reorganized earlier this year. Of course, their senior management didn’t tell them almost half would be fired soon after. Even more cuts are likely to follow as more and more work is offshored. End of an era.

The vision of our CEO is to ignore renewables and just pursue infield drilling in Permian and Guyana.
Why do we need EMRE or UBD if we are just going to work Guyana and Permian for next 20 years?

😂 90%+ of EMRE is still quite intact.

Well you are dating yourself... EMRE is no longer a thing. But 20-25% of Research and Engr will be cut.
