Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

Do you think more cuts are coming later this year?

Seeing a lot of tasks being reduced.

If you are not asking for details, then what do you want.
A question was asked in the post and a statement was made.

Agree with that, however "Belfast is next" is so vague it's worthless to post. No one is asking to give detail and cite sources in detail.

That’s the thing though….there were times where someone would state a MD would be let go and no details. It was brushed off as a nonsense post with no substance. Fast forward, and that very person was let go.

Just because someone does not give details or cannot give details so as to not narrow them down as the whistle blower, does not mean the post isn’t true.

'Belfast is next"

Based on what?

There is one person continually posting in this forum with an axe to grind about Belfast and posts never have any hint detail or backed up in any way, and no comments on from where the speculation comes (apart from the voices in his or her head)

Curious, does this apply to non-generating revenue areas of the bank or revenue generating areas?

I don’t know but if they do they need to start cutting those old dinosaurs that have been with Citi for 20 - 30 years. Those are the people keeping the bank hostage and who have stunt its growth. There are to many legacy employees who are not talented enough to keep Citi afloat.
