For those that are still there, I’d try your damndest to find a new job and focus 100% on fulfilling the new job and put 10% on maintaining a Citrix paycheck. Double dip the heck out of them, build your rainy day fund and you’ll be forever grateful to TK and his corruptocrats from

@tzt+1j31Xjmp Agreed 1000%! Imagine an ELT stumbling upon this website, even though it's anonymous, and seeing posts from people supposedly employed at Citrix talking about carrying several remote jobs, only spending 3 hours a week on Citrix, and just all around proving exactly why they are being so aggressive about RTO. These types of posts are justifying every single thing they are doing. Ugh!
Laid off, if you're remote and they're re-evaluating your position. Fired, if you're remote and refuse to come the office. That is what they are going to do, guaranteed.
Yea, no.
I don’t like what’s happening at Citrix, and I’m considering my options for the future, but I have too much integrity to do this.
I swear these posts and the “I only work two hours a day” posts are astroturfing to make all Citrites look bad and provide cover for RTO and whatever else TK has planned.
By fired I assume you mean laid off.
It's going to be very easy for them to fire someone who is working from home and doesn't seem to contribute much. That's a no-brainer for them. When the managers make their budgets, they're going to have to look at every single employee and decide "Needed? Yes or no?" And there will be a lot of pressure to make a lot of "no" decisions, because the budget has to be very lean. The manager will have a cap on salaries, and they'll have to decide who stays and who goes. They have no choice. It won't even matter if your manager likes you. For all you know, the manager himself might get chopped.
This is a surefire strategy to get yourself fired for cause from BOTH companies.
@njq+1j31Xjmp Exactly! Everyone coming on here telling us how little they work is exactly why we have a heavy handed RTO.
The rest of us suffer because of those that watch TV all day rather than work.
If you're working 10% of the time, TK would see that as absolute proof why RTO is needed.
I only work 10% of the time in Citrix yet spend 90% of my time looking for another job. May just have to do this tactic once I land a new job.
