What if we were union based. Could they stop the mass layoffs?

Unions are a big part of the problem in this country. Employees that will work the lowest level jobs get paid way more than they should. U.S. employees make more than any other country. That's the reason U.S. companies push to hire off shore, automation and eliminate unneeded roles.
Single payer now.
Remote or not, unions are once again needed for all large companies. People need to wake the ef up because greed has taken over!
This is leaderships top fear especially in California and Florida.
Umm Kaiser is a he-l hole just like Optum. They went thru the same thing. Long term employees had to reapply for other positions. Some couldn’t pass the initial tests they gave out. They condensed the check in counters it was a mess. I’m glad I’m remote
Kaiser is unionized and they still have their jobs. They are treated respectfully as well. Imagine?

Uh, hello?! What do you think is happening now?
Good to know, it was just a question, so thank you for being respectful when replying.
Lmao, no.
Any serious effort to unionize would result in every onshore job getting sent to Cebu, Ireland or Mexico as fast as they could requisition office space.
