If this isn’t a wake up call for those that are still working there, then you are in denial. Get your resumes updated and look for a new job. The grass is greener on the other side. Don’t be scared to start all over, change and security is good. Believe me when I tell you. Other employers will value and appreciate your work ethic and knowledge. Trust me on that! Made out like a bandit with my lay off. Paid me til the end of the year, full unemployment and the extra 600 a week for months!

@tuc+1kz5mkRT.....Unemployment agency will still make you apply every week at places, and with virtually all other retailers hiring, how could you avoid getting hired then?
Nope, I'm waiting to be laid off. I'm too close to retirement.

Yep I was let go last round of layoffs after 22 years and I’m much happier now!! Lots of places hiring! I even managed to get out of retail so I have my nights weekends and holidays back with with family.
