Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

From retail giant to ghost

At this rate, I don't see how Macy's survives as a brick-and-mortar chain. My prediction is we'll be completely out of business in several years, another casualty of changing times.

@12e Dang Tony! I did not mean to upset you. Food makes everyone feel better. Perhaps I should buy a loaf of that $18 bread that you like so much on my $16/hr salary. Will that make you happy so you won’t cuss at me?

@tt you don’t know wtf you’re talking about so maybe sit this one out and stfu. Macys is not declining at a faster rate than Sears. You just pulled this bs out of your a-s and decided on your own that this was true.

Hmmm…if Macy’s continue with it’s current product assortment it will become obsolete. They are still targeting a dying generation. It’s on the same declining trajectory as Sears but at a faster rate.

Blah blah blah. “Macys will be out of business blah blah.” Literally find something else to post

M has not been just a brick and mortar chain for over a decade. The online footprint continues growing and will sustain them for some time to come. A few more closures of non performing doors in the future, of course but overall M will survive.
