Hot mess in our club. Anyone else share the same feelings? Weekends r so bad. Hoping to hear that I’m not the only one! I work on the evening shift and the day shift leaves a complete mess. We can be a couple hours behind sometime and members are waiting while we run around understaffed trying to pull things on the spot.

Not having orders drop until the day they are due has totally screwed us up. There's no way we can get 16 to 20 some orders done every hour starting at 7 am. We are so busy dispensing we can barely pull 5 or 6 orders sn hour starting at 10 am. Not sure why home office keeps upping our orders before the new block schedule is even rolled out. As usual they do everything backwards.
Nobody's job is meant to be easy.
We have been doing well since cpu got staffed for the most part. Yea there were days we were a little behind but nothing serious. And not behind like, we were hours behind, just picking as they were coming up. Yesterday however was awful. We were so behind, it was like back before cpu got any kind of staffing, prepandemic. When it was only 2 am and 1pm. It was pretty bad yesterday. I am hoping this coming week won't be like that. We don't have people anywhere else in the club to even loan labor. We have like 3 merch at night and not enough front end to even cover front end. Smh hiring freeze makes sense when you don't need over half a clubs worth of people to hire.. when it's so bad you can't even run the business.
This new block schedule screwed everything up. They cut all the hours of the people they just gave $15 to. Every single department is under staffed. I think people just don’t care anymore. That’s why the turn over ratio is so high. They also just keep hiring young kids that can only work 2 hours a week. Everyone is literally jumping all over the place to have that department covered. Managers can’t manage because they are too busy moving the pickles to bay 3 instead of bay 5. It’s a complete joke. They are literally doing resets in the middle of a pandemic.
AM/PM shift all the same. Everyone is in the same situation just at a different location. We are all going through this together. The company knows this, they pretend like they don't but how could they not? Especially with this extra stimulus money everyone received we are super busy, we have no time for breaks. Oh, and of course we have the attendance issues on top of this. Once again this younger generation doesn't care and they come to work. It is our long term partners who are the most dependable and hardest workers who faithfully show up. I personally have a lot invested in this company and would like to thank everyone for their hard work.
