The morale hits the bottom after LR

It has been a mess from operations, engineering, IT, to Sales. Some areas report that they have to cover more with fewer people. Some support groups completely ignore requests. Then operations try to delay the execution as much as they can. The morale has hit a new low. Do you see the same?

After working at Cisco for over 15 years I can agree that the ELT is truly bringing Cisco down to one of the worst companies ever. Licensing issues plague customers, losing the number one video solution to competitors, SDWAN broken, TAC complacency to most of my customers. Meanwhile all the ELT can talk about is how we need to give millions more to BLM and how employees need to sleep on the streets to understand the homeless better. Cisco is supposed to be a Tech Company and not a SJW company. Change the leadership now!!

very well said. I am asian and i know asians and even blacks p-ss-d off at the crocodile teared ELT. No one with right dignity wants freebie thrown at them like a begger. Every country wants to keep minorities under a grip for the vote bank. SF Kamala Harris is a classis example. Give people free weed and keep them on your magic grip so they keep voting for you.

Nothing new here except the scale. Been going on to a greater of lesser extent for 20 years, LR’s to aid transition to new products but the balance is never in favour of employees. In the support area the teams were milked for years to the point of breaking the whole model, the company reinvested but mainly in low cost locations which never solved the problems because even thought the numbers grew huge % of work was rerouted to the high cost experienced, under resourced team....viscous cycle. Several poor strategic moves - CX is one - just compounded the problem. High cost “experts” from Salesforce etc, no investment in what customers really valued....another disaster that the ELT won’t deal with. Cisco had my loyalty for 20 years and dropped me like a hot brick...cost savings = you are old and expensive!

I agree no more. After more than 15% cut in my team. Now the delivery schedule is the same before the Layoff. The workload is almost double. It is no way we can deliver high quality product. Even though I stay, I decide to move on when the economy is coming back. Cisco is so toxic this day and the upper management DON'T CARE about people and treat them like dirt. Sorry for our loyal customers. Very soon, our loyal fans will go for our competitors one by one.

@ @dpx+17GzY3to the only way you are paying more taxes under President Trump's tax plan is if you have a very high mortgage payment (interest) and pay a lot of state taxes. Grow up and quit asking the rest of the country to subsidize you. Also, that deduction will never come back. Get use to it.
Chane your state vote to get your state taxes lowered. This isn't rocket science.

Cisco is providing the illusion of transparency to avoid any real risk. They also have been in this insane layoff cycle for DECADES, keeping employees in a permanent state of fight or flight fear. Draining and toxic. ITS ALL FAKE. Managers in our area are being bumped up to directors, getting FAT raises. It’s all just a power shift and sicko VP’s play the survivors like puppets. Disgusting.

It is the world in general.
