Time to find out

Time to find out if this ELT has anything between the legs.. choose whats right or lean on the side of revenue and continue to operate out of Russia. Youve cut to the bone in the states.. reap what you sow

so many words about diversity, inclusion, social responsibility, yet willing to support the oil production of Russia despite that country’s warmongering. Their contractual commitment to the yk project has another five years to go.

Scratch beneath the surface and you begin to see what a toxic organisation this is. And further you drill down the more toxic it gets.

@svd Leading from the "rear" is what our leadership is good at; just ask all the employees that they have $crewed!

This is called leading from the front:
March 19 (Reuters) - Oilfield services provider Baker Hughes (BKR.O) said on Saturday that it has suspended new investments for its Russia operations.
Baker Hughes "is continuing to comply with applicable laws and sanctions as it fulfills current contractual obligations," it said in a statement.
Two other oilfield services companies, Halliburton Co (HAL.N) and Schlumberger NV (SLB.N), said on Friday they have suspended or halted Russia operations in response to U.S. sanctions over Moscow's invasion of Ukraine.

Lorenzo Simonelli, Baker Hughes’ chairman and CEO, said in a statement the company “strongly supports a diplomatic solution” to the conflict.
“The health and safety of our employees, customers, partners, and their families always remains our top priority,” Simonelli said.
“We have been continuously monitoring the situation, and today’s announcement follows an internal decision made with our Board of Directors and communicated to our leadership team earlier this week.”
Anyone buying this? I think by earlier this week, he means today, Saturday, after Halliburton and Schlumberger had announced they were pulling out of Russia on Friday. When do BH Issue press statements on a Saturday? It’s also a very coded statement “ suspended new investments”. Does that mean the deal with Rosneft still holds despite the invasion? Some serious questions to answer here. Don’t expect any answers.

They are actually breaking sanctions on the supply of equipment, some if which may be used for exploration in the arctic. There are sanctions in place specifically prohibiting such supply.
There is no moral fibre in this company and this will be remembered.

Posts all over LinkedIn about IWD, always seeing internal comments and initiatives about gender and diversity inclusion, regular posts about how they are there to support employees who might be struggling (yeh right).

All worthy and commendable, but really, when we see this continuing head in the sand mentality over Russia because it affects revenue (particularly the huge whole for OFE a withdrawal would cause) you realise that at the end of the day they’re just about hollow virtue signalling.
