If you get a job offer from AMD, Nvidia, Apple, Qualcomm, Broadcom, Google, Meta, and Amazon, are you going to stay at Intel? See also who is joining Intel now.
I believe 90% will leave Intel even with less money. Now Intel only have third class employee who can't find job in better company.

If benefits are trimmed down like 4 weeks (industry standatd) for a new mom or dad vs. 12 weeks current benefit and if stock options are under water, one should move on to a growth company. Wall Street punishing Intel for no growth and loss of market share.
AMD will 10x
INTC is dead money at best and is doing a speed run to 0 under Pat.
It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. once your reputation is compromised you never get it back. Great job Intel.
Oh boy. You are in for a rude awakening.
Is like that former football star that brags about how he used to win back in the day. In reality, he’s a middle aged guy that lives in the past whose skills have deteriorated away.
Sorry bud, you won’t make it in the NFL today.
We’ll still remember you in museums.
Like Colin K, Brett Farve at the end of his career etc.
Which company is likely to 10x stock in the next 10 years? - AMD, NVDA, AVGO, AAPL ..... or INTC? Once you see how huge the opportunity is for Intel to generational wealth, there is no doubt what the answer is. I won't be surprised if NVDA, AVGO, AAPL employees are busting the doors at Intel to get in the ground floor.
The problem of Intel is different pay strategy. It should pay similar to competitor such as TSMC and Samsung for process and automation engineer but design and software should be compared with US company. But Intel pays reasonably close to all job. This is very unique issue in Intel and hard to fix.
It will be a decade or more before Intel can reach its former place in semiconductor world. And it’s very unlikely. It’s the new world order and we will be lower mid tier company probably forever.
It’s been that way for a long time now.
The talent is quite a bit better at those places.
Anyone would leave their current company if the other company paid more.
