Curious if there a large layoff across Optum on April 18th, 2024? Hope it was just a rumor.

is it true -the IESNP is being decommissioned
If people haven’t figured it out yet, they cyber attacked themselves. This justifies everything they do and will continue to do. Follow the money and you will put the pieces together.
@siv+1s6IF07g, 25% from ISNP? I have a friend who was laid off, but I heard they are having Sr CSMs step down. Curious on what levels/areas from ISNP were let go?
I’m an appeals nurse. 5 of our nurses and our direct manager were cut. Absolutely ridiculous.

Severance is based on a combination of paygrade and time with the company. There's a guide on Sparq - just search for severance.
I work for Optum now and worried I’m next -
Did someone say this is happening again in July?
How do they figure severance? Does anyone know?
So wait- there were layoffs at Landmark, yet they're forcing so many OVC employees to work their 24/7 call center with no option for unemployment? Classy.
I was a little disappointed to learn still had a I ob. I was looking for severance and summer vacation.
200 + told they were gone today. Physicians, Nurse Practitioners. Entire virtual side shutting down.
Can confirm. OBH got hit today, laid off whole team of data specialists for provider data updates.
There were around 20 cut in my state today in Home and community positions but part of a nationwide cut of hundreds
Company has no loyalty to its employees! I got later off on my 20 year anniversary in 2020. Thankfully I was reassigned to another group and finally retired last August. Best decision ever! 23 years invested in this company and feel like 0 invested in me. Glad to be out of this sh-t show.
I was two years away from retirement and two months away from my 25 year anniversary and got laid off today.
Not a rumor. Happened today within Landmark which they acquired about 2 years ago... senior leadership and lower level staff. Very sad. Nationwide terminations.
We lost 25% on the Optum ISNP side. It’s awful. Prayers for those who lost their role today.
Unfortunately, The American worker is seen as overpaid in this global workforce. What the copycat CEOs will eventually realize is that cutting out knowledge and skill, is like eating steak and ice cream washed down with a 400 calorie IPA everyday. It'll eventually ki-l ya. Will you be one of the lucky execs that can grab the money and run? I love my job and co-workers. We do exceptional things. No wonder some of our most skilled workers want no part of a management role that has to deliver heartwrenching messages like today's. Hang in there, You're worthy.
Someone has to help UHC pay the ransom money. Heartbroken because I loved my job and what I did.
Yes, several were laid off across Home & Community today for sure.
Yes, my manager and 10 other co-workers got laid off this morning 4/18/24
Optum buys successful companies and has no clue how to manage them. Sc--ws everything up and then lays everyone off. And uhg is in the top50 companies on LinkedIn. What a load of cr-p.
Yes, it’s all OptumServe under Optum Health has been affected.
