If Intel would forget about holding handrails and DEI that would be a step in the right direction.

DEI is racism.

Remember, these pro DEI types are the same people who think you can save the planet by gluing yourself to precious artwork.

If DEI were really about forcing a distribution, then would an NBA team with a racial makeup that matched the country be a contender?

Doesn't the 20,000 good catches per month for "found pen on floor" by stoned & drunk MT's bring bookoo value to our safety culture?

The lost decade of the 2010's can well be summarized as "drones and diversity". The company completely shifted focus to diversity around 2013, and the amount of effort that went into a complete no value sinkhole like drones was asinine. These things distracted from core competencies and focus on competition and customers.

You know it’s a far right brain washed Republican when they start throwing around their current favorite buzz word of the month - DEI. Just as d-mb as the others - MSM (mainstream media), Chicom (Chinese communist), sheep, RINO (Republican in name only), blah, blah. So d-mb

"Intel Global Diversity and Inclusion"
No worry. We have more white than other races. H1Bs are not the major part.

I suggest we stop complaining about DEI anymore because It is part of the Chips Act funding.

"I'm from the gov and I'm only here to help If you meet our DEI standards"

@sbb+1uqKFFp3 Spending is neglegible, but diversity hires poison the company at every level, from executives making stupid strategic decisions to ICs wasting others time with low quality work and lowering morale by getting promotions related to skin color or genitals, and not technical contributions.

Say no to racism! The number of DEI is very small. Please leave these poor people alone. Intel’s problem has nothing to do with DEI.

While I'm sure it makes grumpy people feel good to rage about DEI, it really is totally unrelated to Intel's current business problems. It makes no difference at all to the financials.

Dude. You wrote it. Read it. Everyone read it again:
"Be considerate of the 1% DEI that we are target hiring over equally qualified individuals."

That's racisms/s-xism. Reverse the scenario and you'll see the truth.

It's an indicator that leadership does not fully grasp how deep of a hole Intel is in.
No more free coffee or fruit and you could get a layoff notice any minuet BUT... be aware and considerate of the 1% that we are target hiring over equally qualified individuals.

Agreed. Intel's focus seems a bit odd when it is faced with a matter of survival.
