@12n The only thing typical or consistent around here is that your ratings will primarily be based on two criteria: Likability and willingness/ability to advocate. I'd note that since a change a couple years back "Met" is generally below 100%, which is as silly as it sounds.
Likability is a measure of how much your boss likes you, how much their boss likes them, and so on until around LL3. It could be based on absolutely anything, but seems least likely to be based on how well you perform your actual job.
Willingness to advocate is a measure of how much each link of the chain mentioned above willing to fight for your rating/compensation, and how well they are able to lobby for it. Will they fold to whatever their manager tells them? Will they stand firm such that the only way for your comp to get by at a lower amount is by firing them? I havent found that manager yet, or at least not when likability was low.
@12n+1kk1v67kx Read other threads. There is the official line. Then there is the reality = it is all at the whim of the people leaders collectively.
Could someone explain how the performance ratings affect your bonus/merit increase? Is it typical here to get met/met but only get 80% performance bonus (i.e. target1.30 .8) ? How do you actually get 100% is that exceeds/exceeds?

@115 I have not gotten mine yet.
@10b Have you done yours yet? or are you not a Ford employee? The number is what is shown in your compensation sheet after the 130%.

Are people reporting their bonus % after the 130% into consideration?
If someone says 80%, does that mean 80% of the 130% or 80% of their bonus potential?
If older person got exceeded overall rating at interim and met at final with no feedback would it make sense to request move to new group ? Previous years had exceeded (or TA) , but there were many younger H1B new hires .

Met & Met were ratings for me. New position.
Been stuck at my Salary Grade (SG6) since 2022. Cant convince HR or People Leaders to help me out. Always performed well at my old job and my new job. Just keep getting the same runaround to see how I do for 2026. At this point I think I'm going to have to leave Ford. 10 years at this company. This company obviously cannot pay their folks what they are worth. I'm going to have to leave Ford at this point. $2700 was my annual raise folks. Thanks Farley, Executives, HR, and everyone in between that pretends compensation is a mysterious machine none know how to operate.

I got Met this year.
Last year I got Exceed but I only got a 3.5% raise and 106% bonus, which are the same as my teammates who got Met.
@sb
If you got zero bonus, were you rated 1 on performance and 1 on behaviors? I've not heard of anyone getting zero bonus, so this is a real slap in the face if true.

95% plus 4.2%. Got met with one inconsistent and in middle of salary grade. Most people are getting 90%.
Was told will be available Monday 🤷♂️
I believe the bonuses that leadership has cascaded are phenomenal for this year. But the best is yet to come in the near future when our latest products and services are in customer's garages and parking spaces! That is when the profits will soar and all employees will benefit. Won't be long, I have seen and experienced what's coming and it's amazing. Plus the quality woes of our legacy products will phase out with those products. The BOD and leadership knows this.
3.4% raise (I’m assuming because I’m on lower end of pay grade)
130% x .85 Bonus = 110% ( got 3 inconsistencies)
My manager said I'd get mine on my last day, what the heck does that mean?
I’m not seeing an average anywhere near 130%…. Surprised?!

Low raise is based on performance and where you are in your salary band. There are recommended values. Bonus is based on performance or perceived to give others higher you have to take from Peter to pay Paul.
