I will never be concerned. If I lose this job, I will get another. S&^% is that simple You really think a 1099 is going to make it with the inflation? My job is here till they boot me. Then I will worry about it. Have you really been working for these guys since 2016 and haven't prepared? Day one I started the emergency savings. All of a sudden you are shocked. Its a job, not a career. Do the minimal and save some side cash. It will only be rough if you let it be.

5 installs $300 for the day. Then subtract vehicle payment, $4 a gallon gas, tools, and taxes. See how that works out. Not concerned
