Synopsys should adopt a voluntary retirement program similar to Microsoft. This provides high-cost, senior employees with a graceful transition out of the organization.e company should follow Microsoft and offer voluntary retirement program. This will give senior people who have high cost a grace way to leave.

@ts That’s what it looks like to me too. Or maybe they are worried about a mass exodus if they clarify.
@s8 Who would come forward when no details are shared, ive expected a followup email after that meeting with voluntary program but none, The come forward part was for them to layoff without any compensation.

I would leave that sinking ship in a heartbeat.
It is absolutely insane that you think that this company is willing or capable of making humane or sensible decisions. There are a lot of great things Synopsys SHOULD do, but it won't.
I think they are worried they would have too much interest
