Just received the "business update" Teams meeting invite scheduled for tomorrow at 10:30am eastern. I cannot believe we are expected to wait until tomorrow.

Hmmm, I did not get an invite to a Town Hall nor did I get an invite to an Important Business Update, so I guess I'm left hanging.
At least they get a nice vacation to Bangladesh to train their replacements.
Big Company wide Town Hall apparently letting divisions know they are being offshored.
They brought so many top level executives from big banks and tech companies in the last one year. Cvs needs to give them all the stocks promised. So comes the layoff.They dont know how this company and business work. Talk cr-p on some new process and realign existing teams is all they do.End of the day people do the samething, Laying off people who have spent significant part of their life and contributing to the company . Covid times we boiled ocean. Digital is going to have tough times ahead
If you got a team meeting it should be fine. my colleagues are all notified by 1:1 with skip level.

No invite for town hall. It has been quiet all day. I'm not sure if you got the town hall invite does that mean you're safe or you're on the chopping block?
@rzv+1o63l4vW I’m really hoping it’s to let the rest of us know who was affected and that those affected were already notified today. They aren’t going to inform people for the first time in front of 75+ others, so unless our entire department is being laid off I feel slightly optimistic …
Be glad it's a business update we had one this morning at 8:30 a.m. unannounced. The VP of our department went over all the changes and who was let go. Individuals that were let go were already notified with a separate email and we're not on the business update meeting
That's just cruel.
