running the company to the ground with his stupid IDM 2.0?

This was all cast in stone with the BK+RJ "leadership" 10 years ago and the brains that left shortly after. It's interesting to note that the board that put those two on the throne are no longer around. The leadtimes on this technology are just too great to put all the blame on Pat.
He must have some fu king id--ts from the board to back him off
At this point I'm starting to believe in the theory that Pat has some dirt on the board
@tvs not getting fired for $30B+ mistakes is not a luxury that can be reasonably afforded to any regular employee no matter how "humble" they are afterwards about learning their lesson. But those rules do not apply to these corporatist vultures. Rules are for us plebs.
Ha yea this really makes zero sense
His job is to tank the company so it can be sold off for parts. There is no other logical explanation.
How else do you explain Pat walking in to his annual review touting "I took the company from $80,000,000,000/year in annual revenue to $50,000,000,000/year, dropped our stock from $65/per share to $18/per share, hired 30,000 more employees than needed and, I've destroyed our reputation by refusing warranty coverage on millions of faulty processors."
That's AWESOME!!!! Here's an $8,000,000 raise.....Pat should've been shown the door after his first month in office.
The chance of Pat surviving in the next 6 months is 10%. Set this in stone.
MJ said in an open forum that people don’t get fired for making mistakes - as long as they learn from them … which is a philosophy I agree with.
But , there is a difference between making a mistake on a project or activity vs
Destroying a 50 year old tech Goliath !! Give me strength !!!
Accountability my a-s
@zoz you put someone to save the company. even if can't achieve the goals, can't even run the company to the ground. the current situation is exactly trying to bankrupt Intel. This Pat is a failure
please. This is all BK and Bob Swan's legacy. Bob, the guy who said things about how we know how to innovate, so we can just ring that bell whenever we want and take the money out. This is what happens when you put the finance guy in charge of a company that relies on innovation.
Wait till Q3 results come out, Fab starts have decreased this quarter and they have to take the cost of all this severance.
VPs and above are always invincible. They have earned that right after their promotion to those ranks. They always win even when the company is in a nosedive. That's the reason why they never leave when all is going down - they continue earning regardless!
“The more money they make the more clown makeup they can afford.” << best reply of all, lol
Because life isn’t fair and his hates you. And because you touch yourself!
The more money they make the more clown makeup they can afford.
We deserve apologies and resignations from the entire executive staff.
@rzs why?
He should be but he won’t be
Because VPs and above are not ever held accountable for any of their decisions.
