Thread regarding USAA layoffs

A Review of Wayne Peacock as a Leader

Wayne Peacock has literally obliterated every thing he has touched at USAA, with his hair brain schemes. Remember MX?
Employees literally HATE him. He single handedly destroyed the best employee satisfaction scores in Corporate America. He decimated the highest Employee Engagement scores that Gallup ever recorded. His record as CEO of regulatory fines is like MORE than QUADRUPLE all other CEOs COMBINED! Wayne Peacock is dismantling USAA bit by bit and WE ARE ALL LETTING HIM DO IT! WE ARE ALL COMPLICIT - THE BOD, THE EC, and EVERY SINGLE EMG! We did this! Wayne is FAR WORST THAN BOB DAVIS! Wayne’s biggest problem is that he THINKS he knows EVERYTHING. hahaha Wayne THINKS he is smart. Where did he go to school? Laughable!
LETS TALK ABOUT WHAT HE HAS DONE FOR PROFITS! WHAT HE HAS DONE TO OUR MEMBERSHIP IS HEARTBREAKING!
How he PUSHED AND MADE RANDY take rate increases is CRIMINAL! RECORD PTI WILL NEVER ERASE WHAT HE HAS DONE TO OUR MEMBERSHIP! How he has broken the wallets of our military is downright disgusting!
The saddest part is that he CAN fix this or LET HIS LEGACY = TRASH

I had the misfortune of being behind closed doors with Wayne many times. I remember the first time he introduced himself to the team of executives running the largest company at USAA. He sat at the head of the table, stared at the screen straight ahead (not anyone in the room) and said "what you need to know about me is I have a very high IQ, little to no EQ." So his opening first impression communicated I'm smarting than everyone here (even though I know very little about your business) and I don't give a rip about any one of you! I have many other stories that highlight the true evil that this man embodied. He is, and will always be a self serving individual that cares about one thing, and one thing only...himself.

Lame Duck CEO Wayne strikes again! He is trying his best to weasel in a bunch of stuff before he is thrown out the door. He is trying his hardest to ruin USAA for the next CEO. I also heard from a recruiter friend that he is secretly trying to shop his resume to lead (or shall I say RUIN) a non profit. The Scouting America team had been warned about him. Hahaha. He actually thinks that his
Brand is “HIGHLY MARKETABLE”! He is literally delusional. 🥸

Joe “2 Face” Robles started this mess. He inherited a company that was financially secure, had record employee and customer retention numbers, and was one of the most admired companies in America. Wayne is a no talent greedy self serving POS, but like Stuart Parker, Wayne, is one of Joe’s prodigies. Joe forced out USAA execs and replaced them with the first wave of executives from big publicly traded poorly run soulless Wall Street companies. They intern brought in their friends, who brought in the friend, etc. USAAs leadership ranks from directors on up, have zero idea what made USAA so admired for over 100 years, and they don’t care. They are just here to enrich themselves at the expensive of the enterprise, members, and loyal employees, and then they will move on to their next victim. Wayne is a dangerous combination of arrogant, power hungry, greedy, and self-serving, with zero leadership skills. USAA had an admirable 100 year run, but this company won’t be around for a hundred more. It will be chopped up and parted out to companies expanding their business lines, and only the executive class with benefit from this strategy. IMCO was first. Life and Bank will be the next two targets in the coming years.

His focus and charge is to cut expenses. I’m not saying that is a good long term move, but that’s his lane.

Plus, he says impordant rather than important!

Remember when we were buying smaller tech companies? This was explained as a long range strategy. We must have lost tens of millions. It has never again been spoken of.

Wow! You sound bananas. He is not smart. He does not have a photographic memory. And just so you know…. One the most important things a CEO should do is “care”. Which he does…. But only about himself. Not about our members, our membership or even you. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
The OP is right. #thetruthhurts

I hate to say this but he doesn’t care what anyone writes about him. While it may be legitimate, he knows what he is and what he does. And so do the Board members. And the reason he is so smart, is his ability to consume everything. I almost think he has a photogenic memory. He is not in business to make friends, he is here for the power and the ability to wield it which he does so effortlessly.
