yes, but he won't mimic pay or severance by Google.

See https://www.cnbc.com/2023/01/20/google-amazon-microsoft-meta-twitter-severance-packages-compared.html

Compared to NetApp's pathetic severance, Google gave - 2 months salary instead of WARN, + 16 weeks pay + 2 weeks pay for each year worked with 16 weeks accelerated vesting of stock.

I admit it I'm a su-k up I need this job. I had job offer but I'd have to actually do something me work. I prefer sitting in project meetings talking about roadblocks.

There’s a small pending layoff that will probably take place soon. Very isolated to underperforming teams. Layoffs were largely avoided due to pay freeze and lack of assigned budget for promotions and raises. Great FY24 but not good enough for raises. Back to work!

Wanna know how we know you're talking out your a-s and not affiliated with NetApp at all?

No summer shutdown this year. Or last year.

So you've either never been employed at NetApp and are astroturfing (hi, Pure!), or are holding along a-s grudge if you got laid off last Jan.

No Layoffs 10 July. Forced vacation week comes first.

Next layoff will be initiated in late July or early August. Then, you'll receive 60 days of paid leave so the company can avoid WARN fines. Your last effective day will be late October. Cloud teams will be impacted and redundant storage offerings like e-series and solidfire will be entirely axed. Freshn up that resume and start interviewing now to get ahead of the curb

Well, there already were reorgs affecting TSS and sales support roles at the beginning of the month. Not large scale but I know of three people that I work with who were affected.

Cloud Ops SDR team hit hard. Where does Spot fit in? Tools like elastigroup and ocean need to be tightly integrated in selling motions with NetApp storage. Spot SAs join the NetApp core team. Ki-l of selling Spot without NetApp

No layoffs coming. Just reorgs after Vegas. Major changes are on cloud side. Stock train continues going.

Ahh, back to the ol' "nothing is happening so when will something happen?"

The stock is over $100. I wouldn't worry about it until there is a sustained lower price.
