Has anybody noticed that we are losing 12 days of PTO next year?
It wasn't like i was using them all but we are getting far less than these past couple years,

There was an email that holidays are separated from PTO
Post ID: @rio+1wfBuRPZ The WORKDAY app is an antiquated dinosaur And NOT user friendly. There was definitely No UAT done by the owner, ADP.
Most features, needs and requirements are Not in WORKDAY. BUT yet it forces employees and employers into Boxes and FAQs that are Not relevant, Not applicable, do Not help or do Not answer questions.
WORKDAY "functions" and its features are like it's still in the late 1990s.
Unfortunately, since most companies use ADP for its payroll, ADP sold WORKDAY as a bundle because it connects with ADP's payroll system, connecting payroll money with PTOs taken or not taken, etc..
Oracle and other Silicon Valley companies have technologically better and more advanced software than WORKDAY.
You aren't losing days. in 2024 the brilliant decision was made to add holiday hours to your PTO bucket. Made an already overly confusing workday system even more so. You were required to submit your holidays from your PTO bucket. D-mbest thing ever. In 2025 they already put in the holidays and what you are left with is your true PTO bucket. If you didn't use your PTO bucket last year for holidays, you should have bonus carryover - if they didn't catch it and deduct it. I don't think they built any controls over it in 2024 and lots of people never submitted their holiday hours. Citi genius at work. Workday is hands down one of the worst designed apps I have ever seen. And it's for all your HR needs. Perfect example of why citi is NOT a tech company.
So, do we still get the bank holidays to take off and if so, does it get subtracted from our vacation time?
Is there a communique over all of this?
This year your PTO was inflated with holidays. 2025, they removed the holiday hours from the PTO bucket.
