Hearing that from different sources. Optum at Home and Tech are rumored as the probable targets. Do we know more? Any other depts?

@rie+1uM5X6le I can promise you there's still some good people at 30+, but they are drowned out by the voices of id--ts who lie as naturally as they breathe.
They're dying off quick as this company continues to show it cares little for the actual value of work and more about promises of cheap labor via what is still non-functional AI.
Any rumors on what area of Tech?
Optum government has mandatory meetings today. Layoffs no doubt.
Last year it happened October 25th with layoff date of November 9th. That would mean it may be the following week this year rather than the 17th but if I remember correctly, they had multiple weeks of announcing layoffs.
Good 30 and up are useless
I made a post in previous tread but thought it was relevant to this post as well with some corrections ….
There are rumblings. Lots of GL31 and 32 are on the list and luckily for them, they’ve been told months ago to prepare to look for other external opportunities. Those 30 and below, you will know soon enough. Take care and know that it’s only temporary. The ones moving on with severance are the lucky ones. Enjoy the holidays and know that it’s only a job, many more in the sea. If you can hold till 2025, actual “open” positions will open up again. Good luck and let’s support each other through this difficult business decision. Just keep in mind it’s the top leaders and executives have failed us. You did what you were told to survive in this crazy and sometimes dysfunctional company. Let’s hope those who failed and created dysfunction are rifted in proportionality.
