How many people were laid off in the June sweep, all salespeople or others affected? Glad to be with a competitor!

@r5+1jy4f74wh As a former PM I did exactly that. The problem is as soon as a new feature starts to show a hint of customer traction, politically skilled but otherwise useless director and higher leadership types attach themselves to the project and everything goes downhill from there.
The problem was, and is, a lack of product innovation. All Teradata had to do was interview every single customer and go in the direction they generally tell you they want you to go with the product's features and benefits. Can't solve problems you are ignorant about. It isn't that hard.
They got rid of some csm's and then with the leftovers have given them a role requiring tech skills and a pre-sales target.
Now they are even more confused and depressed. As one of their leaders have stated that they don't care anymore who leaves. He is simply there to manage the reduction in headcount
Plenty data points were shared in last few days posts. Pick a spoon and feed yourself. Sorry to see you go. Comeback when you can. Teradata is a great place to work, without work and the place is drowning is some liquid. No one really knows how and why teradata is great, but it is for few.
Steve McMillan has a shrinking (revenue) problem, and he has no clue how to deal with it. Reading "chapter 13 of how to be a popular ceo for dummies" is not the bold big bet they were hired to do. Teradata cares not.
So, steve how do you take this post down?
@OP doesn’t really matter as the lazy people in Sales are still there by the sounds of things.
It will only matter when they get rid of the leeches that have been living off the company without any accountability..get rid of the lazy AE’s, SSE and the New Business Leads.
That is the question that will never be answered.
