@wx LOL this is BS. SWA is the biggest growth department in the company and they are heavily relying on it for profits. They are trying to retain and acquire more people for the WA role. I’m sure you are the same person that was saying the WAVE teams would be let go when all of them were shoved back to regional teams.
FCs on the other hand? I have no idea.
One MD in STS AWAT was laid off. Other than that not hearing much. I hear the new leader in AWAT Naveen is terrible in communication but keeps getting prompted. Takes care of his cronies who are good at nodding their heads. Heard they think they are a smart bunch but know ja-----t
@r3 Great question. WARN scale layoff logistics are complex. If one is coming, it’s been planned for a while. Quarterlies are a separate process. And they simply don't care.
Heard SWA will be losing 25-50 percent of advisors and National Branch to lose 50% of FC’s. Gonna be ugly as many in SWA hired in the past 12 months.
@r3 People who fear losing their jobs often push themselves to work harder than they would otherwise.
From a business decision perspective, what is the rationale for doing layoffs in consecutive weeks? Why not just get them over with all at once?
I am hearing 23 is major one but don’t know for sure.
