@1b7 Those individuals would of got there email from director last night. When I let go my blindside was 9 am after working previous night until 2 am. just to join a call with a motionless director and HR joined to tell me I was done and position was eliminated. I mentioned I was just working from 11 pm to 2 am when was the position eliminated a heads up would of been nice considering director sent email around 6 pm. found out later that my whole department but 3 people, a manager and team leader were not part of the layoff.

The phone call will be quick, no negation and your access will be cut if its your final day. Maybe you will get separtion date until Thanksgiving or New Years Eve.

Being through that process. Su-ks.

@OP Since Jim Pe-k left, most of you don't know him he was the best CEO TransUnion ever had. He moved to NielsenIQ and left us with this piece of trash Cartwright.

The culture changed back in 2021 and been downhill since then. I felt the wrath of Cartwright and was blindsided. Don't think those values you are often reviewed on matters. You could be the hardest worker in your department and loyal they will cut your throat.

Susan the HR lady left because she probably knows she won't be in heaven when she dies and either will Cartwright.

@zk Outsourcing 101, read scripts. If not on the script hang up on you.

@zk that is why the labor cost is cheap. TU sacrificed quality.

@tm majority of Costa Rica resources skill set is trash. They just operate on manuals not at par to US folks. Frequent feedback "I don't know" Requests takes days to process..

@r0 100%

As someone working closely on all these initiatives, I can confirm that they make no sense. Onedev team has no clear objective of what they want to change or achieve. They think a pipeline will fix everything. OneDev management doesn't take criticism, they think their idea is the best in the world.

Company is going in wrong direction. No motivation, no hikes, no bonus, FTO is just for records, Projects stalled. Leadership is frustrations on teams. OneTru, OneDev, On prem, cloud nothing completes. Its more fragile state, Best people already left TU.

They pushed everyone to the foreign GCC's in haste so now they'll cut.

@mv sounds like you're still in your feelings from when you got cut, huh?

I rather see people get laid off at the Crum Lynne PA center. People scanning mail. People? Where's the automation. TransUnion setup your game, AI should be taking over call support. Pay pal is already doing it. There is a lot of savings in that building, should be 1 person per department handling jobs just like you do for all other groups. I see way too many FTO happening that site. Too much free time. If you need a contractor to go in there and cut people for savings I would do it free :)

I can confirm this for GCC India, it starts from next week. Most of the development activities are put on hold(not the code freeze). Contractors are not renewed. Your managers may already have received the 'list'.

@cq I heard from my manager, of course unofficially. It is expected to start from mid next week for GCC India. Apparently some of the managers already know who are in the list.

Why would they layoff people in GCC when their agenda is to move everyone to GCC?

by

Post ID: @c9+1k96j5hfw

@bn I don’t believe that. That’s too much sense for this company getting rid of people in the GCC. Getting rid of useful people is more their style

@a9 GCC will be affected the most is what I heard, but no-one knows. We will know sometime next week.
