Seriously op, You can still get free EAP benefits if you feel you need it want some therapy. And why not? It can't hurt... will probably help in ways you don't even know.

Disagree with stay away from the casino. It is a huge industry to find jobs. You can get better paid jobs there if you don’t do gambling like that id--t Intel CEO to put his employees life risk on 18A coin flipping.
Stop eating outside and cancel unnecessary subscriptions. If you have enough savings or a spouse who can carry the household expenses then just rest for a few weeks
Gotta disagree with getting out of the Intel 401K IF you're invested in the Fidelity Commingled Pool fund. Even the Fidelity rep told me that's one of their best performing funds.

I got rid of all t shirts with Intel logo that I collected for years. I used them to wipe my dogs ur--e and sh it after the layoff before I threw them over to the neighbors that I don’t like and forget about them.

Use that cash to re-invest back into many of its competitor stocks to revenge your manager
Definitely spend time on polishing up your resume and cover letter. I've been applying about 1.5 mo already. It's not a good market. Too many applicants for each position. Many companies / entities are also waiting for the election to be over. It could become better by late Nov or so, or maybe mid Jan-Feb. I am not confident at all at this point I can find anything this year.
- Get rid of references to Intel email address from all your personal accounts.
- While you are dealing with Fidelity, make sure Beneficiary name on those accounts are accurate (nothing to do with layoff – but good time to check while you are already on the call/website)
File unemployment benefits at your nearby state ASAP. Don’t let them push you to get the new jobs as this is a very good time for a break from work work works
File all necessary documents to continue your coverages if you have any
Call Fidelity representatives to convert your Intel 401K retirement funds to a broader diversification IRAs funds so either you can manage yourself or have Fidelity manage it professionally with fees. Get out of Intel 401K funds !
