@5fck+1swIYkDA it was a great quarter for investors and it fattened Gail's pockets, since so much of her salary is stocks. The stock has gone all the way up to almost $550, so her plan is working. They'll keep gutting. Great quarters are good for investors, not always for employees.
"The Great Quater we had"? Wallstreet did not think our performance was good enough. We work for Wallstreet. Our company is a tenticle for Wallstreet to gain access to goverment money. Any we are just cattle to them.
Are they laying off more remote workers than Hybrid workers?

California lost case managers in Medicaid- RN and LCSW positions..
Medicaid Clinical Solutions received an email Thursday 8pm EST titled Navigating Changes Together outlining there were position eliminations due to redeterminations. No details on positions eliminated. And those who are left, "Let's rally together" was mentioned.
California medicaid teams had several RIFs yesterday (5/16/24). All that is discussed below is true. "emergency meetings" were called yesterday (as stated : Thursday), supposedly these individuals were chosen based of "performance".

Oh no- I work closely with someone named Mike in WFM … hope it’s not his team. Let us know if you find out which teams in WFM are affected.
@2yrn+1swIYkDA you're probably okay, but someone from your team is a part of the RIF. That's the most likely scenario here. We had the same meeting and they told us we were losing a handful of people. The day before, they had informed those people that were going to be a part of the RIF.
The rumors are true. There was a RIF today. WFM was affected. Interesting how WFM merged with another team not long ago but the RIFs never affect that side of the team.
Mike's organization? I did not know we had a Mike in CSBD that had an organization. lol
If you got an invite for tommorow morning, that means someone on your team is leaving.

Just got a "quick team touchbase" invite for tomorrow morning (15 minutes) which is out of character for my manager. HR does not appear to be involved so we shall see.
Got RIF'd today. CSBD. Under Mike's org

I personally am not aware of any RIF'S today. This is not to say there are none...but none that I am aware of.
Are there RIFs going on? Or, is it just a rumor?
It's interesting how our so called leaders are never held accountable for their actions or lack of actions. They just fire a bunch of workers to cover their mistakes. This company is a joke!

I logged on today 5/16 and I see a 1:1 meeting with management without and advance notice. We rarely have 1:1 meetings and if so, management announces it in advance!!!! 😳😱

Heard that many Project management roles are being moved to Ireland. Let’s see how well that works. Not that leadership cares.
@1unx+1swIYkDA Not trying to add to your anxiety but RIF notices don’t always get sent out the morning of or the day before.
When it happened to me the meeting invite was disguised as a “team meeting” and sent and accepted almost a week prior. All that was present on the call were truly like lambs being led to sla-ghter. They are really slick with it nowadays. I guess because most of us caught on to having an impromptu “touch base” meeting means certain RIF.
I don’t know why they insist on blindsiding folks.

I wonder what would happen if everybody decided to simply NOT go to scheduled meetings. 😁 I think it would be very entertaining. How would they notify you that you got nailed in a RIF? Email I suppose. Don't answer your phone, don't go to meetings, and let's find out.
@1unx+1swIYkDA has the meeting been on your calendar for a while or did they just send the invite today? If it's been on your calendar for a while, you're probably okay. Most RIF meetings get scheduled the day before or the day of.
