Can I bring my own laptop to work too? I want to do job hunting until layoff happens. No one is paying attention to work any way.

This round layoff is cost driven. You need to bring down the cost to the target level. SD is supposed to release the approved budget on the first day of October. If the approved budget is different from your department’s plan, you need to revise it and of course it impacts the layoff list.
@csa+1oTrXSiT you answered your own question. It is all about projected revenue and required $$savings in the short term.
If the list is being revised, why wouod that be? What changed? Not meeting the quota? Not meeting the $$?
