Thread regarding SAP layoffs

How much is high salary in US SAP?

I worry if I am considered as high pay group and next chop is waiting for me. My salary is like 136k with over 15 yrs of experience. Should I be worried? I don’t want to get a promotion anymore.

isn't it sad when people don't want promotions. There is now real. Organizations do not become great when humans decide to become comfort zone seekers.
Rest in peace SAP

If you are located in the Bay Area, it's not high at all. I'm based out of Palo Alto. I have around 20 YOE, T4, base is $240k, bonus is $60k.

No, its not high salary. as a T4 my base is $205,000, $240,000 total comp. I hired a T3 at $180,000 base.

I don't think 136k is considered high salary for sap and even less when you put that in perspective with your 15 years of experience. Brush up your skills, network and apply to positions outside of sap and you should find higher salaries (even within sap honestly). But salary aside the layoffs appears to be more region based than compensation based so I'm personally looking for an exit before my location is the next one chopped.

@qpq+1s8PrTjD - Salute to your attitude. I am at the same level and compensation as you but I am let go. All the best

One of the members of a previous team, before a previous restructuring or two ago, is at 170K total compensation package in the Seattle area. They are a T3-3. My total compensation is 175k,ish as a T4-L1 in the same area. Neither of us were impacted this round. But with a whole year of layoffs yet to come, I will be looking for other work elsewhere and preferably at a smaller US based company. Ideally at one that competes directly with SAP. With the intention of recruiting as many of my former team mates as possible.

Depends on the location. Which location are you from in US?
