Well there it is folks looks like 700 is the # by end of 2026. Funny thing those is the VSP is included into that 700 total so they only need 98 other associates to hit the 700.

Do you really think they’re gonna post the final number of people that got ISP? No they won’t. Therefore that 100 number that keeps being thrown around is going to end up being much much higher. And that 100 number only referred to ISP on 08/31. Don’t forget there are many more layoffs planned throughout 2026.
@qc also, don’t forget offshoring. So they may off shore roles, causing current employees to be layed off, but not eliminating the role.
It seems to me they want us to think there’s only about 200 more people to be let go, but it’s likely still even higher than the 700 number. My uneducated guess would be much higher.
The numbers being thrown around are the number of POSITIONS or ROLES that are being eliminated, do not confuse this with people. The number of people that will be impacted will be far greater. Roles & Positions are not 1:1 to people. There are many people filling the same role throughout the firm. If you need an analogy, think of it as if the TL role was eliminated and how many people would be impacted by that 1 role going away.
@bn I remember, but I would guess now that we are in the thick of “cascade 2” they have gotten to the point where they have sketched out their little org charts and counted up the roles they want. I also remember they said they needed 250-500 million freed up just days before Penny and ELT received huge multi million dollar raises. Like WTF

Sort of. Some of those VSP roles are being backfilled and so won't count towards the 700
