Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Metro Express Channel Reductions

Dealer principles are now hiring Training Development Managers, Area Development Managers, and other titles depending on what each individual dealer principle calls them! This means RDMs and Senior Managers will once again, get pink slips and the kick in the a-s. Best to start applying outside this channel or seek to leave soon!! Want facts??? Ask your local major Metro dealer if they are hiring these roles.

It appears to be true in the next few months. Put more pressure on owners to be more responsible for their own business.
Goal is to consolidate owner (less than 25 doors, will be pushed to sell) as an economy of scale.
RDM will have yet another name change to Metro Market Managers covering more locations but with the staff of the dealer doors management, and the herd will be thinned again.

It’s absolutely hilarious to see the same paid bots spamming nothing to fear when it’s the same people posting same lies and the staffing reductions continue. T-Mobile lost all employee trust period.

The RDM position isn't going away anytime soon. Stop with the fear mongering.

Well that explains a ton! Just operate at 50% and do the minimum! Focus on something else so when the time comes, you’re ok. Think about T-Mobile as much as they think about your family! I work in the East Coast and it’s a complete sh-t show over here… anything goes at Metro and they want to remove the only people keeping things in order??? GL T-Mobile, I wish you all the best…

Yes there will be layoffs on the metro express side of the business. Dealers are starting to implement their own “ RDM” role for the larger dealers that are taking over the smaller metro dealers/Doors. Verizon has started doing this with total where there isn’t any corporate representatives visiting their accounts. I would expect all RDMs first to be let go soon and then senior managers shortly after.

Working with dealer partners for a while, you have to see the signs coming soon. Metro employees are cutting each others throat to save their @$$es unfortunately all the way up to the top of the food chain. For those on the west coast, they have one of the worst directors and senior managers who couldn’t
Manager their way out of a wet paper bag. Sad to see how Metro has plummeted
