@OP me too. Just picked up some more shares.
@a6 what is the WellMed buyout news? I can’t find anything about this online
@q3 dead stock is a check on irrational hubris from "leaders" , the CEO was fired by the board chair. Now the SAME BOARD CHAIR is also CEO and stacked the board with buddies. Compare performance under SH vs AW
we need the stock under $200 for a sustained period and at some point kicked out of the DOW continuing a slide and the Street will demand that SH walks away gracefully. Only reason it hasn't happened already is we sell stuff like Wellmed or the Brazil fiasco to grease earnings.
Most employees don't have stock and the few that do sell them at vesting. We are all better off with new leadership that cleans house.
@r5 Leadership comes up with ideas all the time, they're just always braindead ones, because nobody who's left up there takes the effort to understand the work of the people underneath them.
I guess RTO and layoffs only give the stock so much of a dead cat bounce. At some point, leadership is actually going to have to come up with an original idea or two if the business is to succeed.
If someone is an employee, not sure why seeing the stock go down would make them happy. Either they're an id--t or not an employee.
I like how every time you use a web browser you are confronted with the current stock price. Unintentional comedy.
Cigna PBM just hit with a RICO lawsuit
Prob went down with the wellmed buyout info
IMO we should see accelerating divestment from clinics with the remaining core business being insurance and pharmacy benefit
