When the corporations eat the tariffs, and citizens are fed up with the affordability crisis, ALL prices will drop. Houses, vehicles, groceries, gasoline. Everything!

@ra Why would auto prices drop when material and labor costs are going up? I have a minor in economics besides my engineering degree. I know some engineers do no get the finance and economics math at all. Maybe you are waiting for the inflation to boost your wages ? What's the logic of TRUMP eating tariffs with everyone ? Ford, and all other OEMs with EAT THE TARIFFS just like President Trump said. Auto prices - and housing prices - are going to drop very soon. And we will be able to finally afford to buy new vehicles and own our own houses.
You should all be considering hanging up your engineering degrees and trying to get in at one of our USA assembly facilities. That is the future of Ford Motor!
Ford seems to be counting down to bankruptcy very soon. It's worth waiting to see how Rivian, Lucid, and Slate vehicles evolve or when GM and TESLA finally drops their prices on its current "FNV4/FNV5" production lineup. Cheap Robotaxi and Optimus may change our lives forever.
Ford will struggle to compete both at the high and low ends of the market, and it's falling very short on quality. I wouldn’t be surprised if the former FNV4 leadership ends up sidelined or cleaning out their offices and chiefs demoted back to janitor positions.

To answer the OP’s question, it’s simple. Don’t buy a Ford or Lincoln product. There are plenty of other automotive companies to buy from. Most of them offer higher quality products than Ford as well.
