It seems to be essentially a way to get Aramco to do government work like it did before getting PIFed.

What in the he-l is this new Shareek Program the Saudi government is introducing? I read 5 articles and listened to an interview om Amin Nasser.....all of it was just a bunch of consulting bs packaged to look important. Can you explain what it is?

Don't get me started on Operational Excellence. Just a useless paper shuffle to comply with management requirements. I can attest that in my case I built a "Solid" OE Process from scratch in 3 months time. I can tell you how many documents and KPIs were forged in that period. The worst is that they had 3 years to prepare for the audit but only took it seriously 6 months before. Needless to say that I was parachuted and took over the process in question 3 months before with my predecessors having done absolutely zilch, zero, nada during the previous period.
If they are going to use the data from OE into their AI, it's going to be, how do I put it? BS^2

If the data provided to that AI was compiled in the same way as all these tracking programs implemented in the facilities, then classic algorithm applies: garbage in - garbage out.

One can only dream 😂😂😂😂
That would require a radical change in the local culture, guess what? Not gonna happen

All the savings attributed to Operational Excellence and transformation to fully automated digitized workflows that AI compares against stretch goal KPIs to trigger corrective actions to close any gaps. What could possibly go wrong…

They value expats that create the best PowerPoint presentations of big plans that will never be implemented. When they have expensive expats with BA degrees, how could anything change?

They have the funds, I only hope they use big data analysis for next layoffs and see who is really helping to bring the barrels to the surface, instead of rumors and politics.
